THE REALITY You've read the news. You've seen the video. Earthquakes. Floods. Tens of thousands lost. Millions displaced. And all of it happening so close to our home. Maybe you are like us; You've been wondering how you can help the relief effort but feel a little unsure of what that could or should look like. Here's one way.
THE HOPE A Blanket. It's so much more than bedding in a situation like this. It's comfort, it's security, it's a reminder of our humanity. The International Art Auction Benefit for victims of the Chinese Earthquakes and Floods is an opportunity for artist and art lovers in the Seoul community to raise funds that will go towards buying blankets for those affected by the tragedy. We may not be able to alleviate all of the suffering, but we CAN make a difference.
THE PLAN We collect fabulous art pieces donated from some of the most exciting artists throughout Seoul - Drawings, paintings, sculptures, illustrations, original posters, and more. You come to the auction, bid generously and walk away with an amazing, original artpiece and a warm heart. All of the proceeds (and we mean ALL of the proceeds) go directly toward the purchase of blankets which will be distributed directly to people in China.
THE GOAL We raise 5,000,000 won.
